Are you a resident of Wayne County and live in the Evergreen Area? We have a Neighborhood Watch that meets once a month. We meet the first Wednesday of each month, from 5:30pm until 6:30pm at the T.C. Coley Community Center by Elm St and Leslie St. Come join us.

What do we do? We watch out for each other's home, and we work together to solve common problems. This group started because of incidents that caused concern such as vandalisms, auto thefts, burglaries, etc., even brainstorming with officials on how to reduce drug dealing and open-air drug markets; discouraging gangs, thus improving security for all.

Immediate contacts are: Linda Jordan (Mulberry St resident) at 919-738-0254 and Jamie Taylor (Leslie St/Walnut St. resident) at 919-273-1908. Jamie is City Council Rep for District 3.

Did you know?

Call 911 only if there is a true emergency; otherwise call the non-emergency police number 919-705-6572

To report an issue you are concerned about go to http://www.goldsboronc.gov/public-affairs-department/goldsboro-311

Submitted by Blondine I. Knelsen, Leslie St resident. and Ash St. business owner.

Learn this and much more at our meetings. See you there??
