NC Freedom Fest Returns with Expanded Fun, New Music, and a Big Salute to Our Heroes

Goldsboro, NC– NC Freedom Fest is back and bigger than ever! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6, 2025, when Downtown Goldsboro transforms into a vibrant hub of patriotism, entertainment, and community spirit. This free, family-friendly event celebrates and honors our military personnel, veterans, and first responders in a day filled with gratitude, fun, and fantastic music.

The festivities kick off at 12:00 PM with an expanded street fair running until 5:00 PM. This year’s street fair offers even more time to explore a wide variety of local vendors, check out an impressive car and bike show, and enjoy plenty of free activities for all ages. It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon with family and friends, surrounded by a community that proudly supports those who serve.

Starting at 5:00 PM, the energy shifts to Freedom Field for the main event, a powerful evening of appreciation and entertainment. The program begins with military awards, an inspiring art contest, and the crowd-favorite F-15 flyover, a thrilling tribute to our brave service members.

Taking the stage for the evening concert is rising country star and Wayne County native Eli Winders, followed by award-winning country artist Ashley Cooke, who will headline the night with a show-stopping performance. With fresh new talent and high-energy performances, this year's concert promises to be the most memorable yet.

Everyone is encouraged to wear RED – Remember Everyone Deployed – as a symbol of unity and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our military families.
