We are a non-profit organization that is made up of volunteers with the mission to promote, educate and advocate for mental wellness of all individuals within our community. People with good mental health: feel good about themselves, feel comfortable with other people, and are able to meet the demands of life.
We need YOUR support to continue community programs, such as the one coming up this August 26th, 2025, at The Wayne Community College. This educational event targets parents and anyone involved in education. Come and listen to presenters Steve Roman, and Terry Ruffin as they will focus on Positive Parenting, plus motivate you to help build a stronger community by raising our awareness, provide guidance, and inspire us toward positive change. Mr. Ruffin is a motivational speaker, mentor, prison reform activist, and author of The Definition of Street Ignorance. Mr. Roman is the regional coordinator for The Positive Parenting Program, educator for the 8th judicial district; and has co-authored a parenting program curriculum for teenage parents.
We will meet at WCC The Learning Center, Room 161, from 6-8pm. Food provided, and donations accepted.
Stay tuned for future programs. And see you soon!
