Volunteer Tutors Needed!

Literacy Connections is looking for people with a desire to help their neighbors grow and learn.  You can help by becoming a one-on-one tutor for an adult student.

• Tutors can meet with a student in person.

• Tutoring schedules are flexible in order to meet student’s and tutor’s needs. 

We only ask for two hours a week!

• Tutors will gain teaching experience. 

• We provided training and support.  No prior teaching or tutoring experience necessary.

• Ongoing coaching and support is available

• Tutors will have opportunities to network with fellow tutors.

Prospective tutors should be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
