Great Things Are Happening at Communities Supporting Schools
It is always exciting when the new school year has begun, and we can begin our work! The CSS school staff returned in early September to provide both support and “wrap-around” services for our students. We are currently serving in ten schools, with elementary reading programs being the focus in three of these schools. In addition to the services that we provide in the schools, we operate three programs under the North Carolina Department of Public Safety/Division of Juvenile Justice (Teen Court/Accountability Circles, Community Service, and the new ArtXecute program).
CSS is excited to welcome Angie Rains to the team! Angie is the newly hired Success Coach at Grantham Middle School! We are so fortunate to have her serving in this role. She retired in 2022 as a school counselor at Rosewood Middle School. Mrs. Rains has a background in both school counseling and child development and years of experience in working with youth. We are so fortunate to have expertise in this role. She is excited about the opportunity to work at Grantham Middle School.
