Local Youth 12U Softball Team Making a Difference

The Carolina Flames 12U softball team will be raising money and walking in April 2017 to help raise awareness and money for ALS---Lou Gehrig Disease.

Two of their team members have been affected by this disease. Mary Hadden's uncle, Bob Miller, passed from this disease in Sept of 2012.

Laney Forbey’s grandmother and Wayne County resident, Kathryn Stafford, has been diagnosed with ALS.

The team will be walking in the Down East walk on April 15, 2017 in Greenville, NC. Please consider making a donation to our team so that we can help make a difference in finding a cure for this awful disease.
