Goldsboro Man Arrested for Punching EMS Worker During Treatment

On September 20, 2016, Wayne County E.M.S. personnel were treating an unconscious subject in the area of Sunburst Drive and when he woke up he started to refuse treatment.

After being told he needed treatment he punched an E.M.S. worker in the face and then started to run from the area. The suspect was caught a short distance away.

He was then charged with Felony Assault on Emergency Personnel and placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $ 2,500.00 secured bond.
