North Carolina Through the Lens – Arts Council

The Goldsboro Area Photography Club has partnered with the Arts Council of Wayne County to display this state-inspired showcase. The exhibit features photos that capture the unique personality of North Carolina, as seen through the lens of some of Goldsboro’s finest photographers. Free Admission.

Paramount Movie Night: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

As part of the Paramount Movie Night Series, the Paramount Theatre will be showing “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”, a 1966 western film starring Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach. General admission tickets are $5/each.

Delbert McClinton at The Paramount

Paramount Performing Arts Series presents: Multi-Grammy Award winner Delbert McClinton! "One of the Fortunate Few,"who has managed to live his dreams for more than six decades. The stars have aligned for Delbert. Those stars may have leaned toward the blues, but Delbert has managed to keep them on the bright side.

Reserved seating tickets are $40/each.

PRAXIS Film Festival

The Sixth Annual PRAXIS Film Festival is presented in partnership by the Foundation of Wayne Community College and the Paramount Theatre Foundation. Day One features films from 10am to 5pm at Wayne Community College followed by an evening feature film at the Paramount Theatre. Day Two will feature films all day starting at 10am at the Paramount Theatre. General Admission Tickets: $10. VIP Weekend Pass available.

Moon Over Buffalo

Center Stage Theatre presents: Moon over Buffalo a comedic play set in Buffalo, New York, centered on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950s.

Heritage Farms General Store

Ribbon Cutting , Fundraiser and a Party!!

145 Arrington Bridge Rd, Goldsboro

The entire community is invited to celebrate the store’s grand opening from 11am – 2pm. Jeff Hart & the Ruins will be playing Americana classics while we serve down home pig pickin’ with all the fixins’. A ribbon cutting ceremony, yard games, and a bounce house for the kiddos will round out this day of family fun! During the event Heritage Farms General Store merchandise will be marked down by 15%! BBQ plates will be on sale for $10 each; all proceeds will be donated to the Community Soup Kitchen.

Valentine’s Day Dinner & Painting Party

We start with light hors d-oeuvres followed by a dinner of lasagna, salad, buttery garlic bread, and finish up with decadent chocolate cake. Dinner includes wine, beer, and ice tea. After dinner, you'll create a beautiful painting based on the work of artist Jim Dine. No previous painting experience necessary! $45 per person.

Wayne County Jazz Showcase

This monthly jazz concert at the Arts Council of Wayne County will feature Eve Cornelious in January. If you are a music lover, a jazz lover or just enjoy a live concert, you will not want to miss this performance of our area’s most talented musicians. Free & open to the public!

Show Your Heart, Show Some Love!

The Goldsboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is sponsoring a Heart-Healthy Walk on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Berkeley Mall from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Our theme is “Show Your Heart Some Love.” Everyone is invited to participate!
