Taking The Gospel Outside The Walls

Outside The Walls International Ministries (OTWIM), founded by Raymond and Lorena Saylor, is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to taking the Gospel beyond the walls of the church and sharing the love of Jesus Christ in Tanzania, Africa. Since beginning our work in Tanzania in 2015, we have witnessed more than 26,500 people make decisions for Christ. Our vision is to reach 500,000 souls with the Gospel by 2030. 

Our ministry serves the spiritual and practical needs of individuals, families, and communities. Through evangelistic crusades, church services, leadership training, youth conferences, men’s and women’s conferences, and Bible distribution, we proclaim the Gospel and help believers grow in their faith. 

We also demonstrate Christ’s love through Project Education, which helps children receive an education; Hut2Home, which replaces unsafe huts with secure homes; medical missions; clean-water projects; food distributions; orphanage outreach; children’s field days; and community development. Our Good News Home in a Maasai village provides a place for ministry teams, meetings, prayer, feeding programs, and outreach. 

In 2027, OTWIM plans seven mission trips to Tanzania, including work trips, a youth conference, evangelistic crusades, men’s and women’s conferences, and a medical mission trip. These opportunities are open to pastors, churches, families, young adults, medical professionals, and anyone who feels called to serve. 

Whether you preach, pray, teach, provide medical care, work with children, help with construction, distribute food, give financially, or serve with a willing heart, God can use you to make a difference.
