MERINGUE Breed: Collie / Hound Mix DOB: (04/25/22)

Look at this beautiful blonde girl! Meringue is gorgeous. She did not have the best start in life, but now she is learning to enjoy being a dog. She is a little timid, but super sweet.

Meringue loves to eat, as all dogs do. She does a cute little dance when she sees her food bowl or treats on the way.

She likes to play with Shadow (foster fur brother) and enjoys chasing balls in the yard. Meringue is about 50 lbs. She is an energetic young dog and needs exercise and playtime daily.

Meringue is house-trained, crate-trained and working on leash training. Her crate is her safe space and she will even go into it on her own if she’s ready to go to bed before her foster dad is.

Meringue is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and being maintained on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention.

An application is required along with a home visit and small adoption fee.

Fenced in yard required (no invisible or electric fencing) Applicants must be 25 yrs. or older.

All DITR dogs are fostered in homes and are INDOOR dogs.

Being a responsible dog owner means teaching your dog to be a good house pet and putting in the time and effort to make them a part of the family.
