Introducing the new Riley. Rescue life is agreeing with him! He is so happy that he’s acting like a puppy, but once he settles in, he’s really quite mellow. His foster mom says she gives him lots of extra attention and LOVE to show him that he is worth loving!

Riley is really a great dog. He eats well now, twice a day and has treats, when appropriate, in between. His favorite treat, apple slices!

Riley loves his walks. He gets super excited when his foster mom says “Wanna go for a walk” and will go to the front door. He is pretty smart and has already learned how to SIT on command.

At night, he sleeps in the curl of your legs – in your bed of course.

Riley is crate-trained and house-trained with potty pads, but he would rather go outside to potty. His crate is always open so that he has a safe space to call his own. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. Riley loves toys especially small balls.

Riley is having some issues with his back right leg and we are waiting for x-rays to determine the best course of action.

Riley is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and being maintained on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He just got his teeth cleaned; and he’s a real kisser!

Thank you to the foster mom for providing extra special care for this extra special boy! Riley is ready to find his forever home!

An application is required along with a home visit and small adoption fee.

* Fenced in yard required (no invisible or electric fencing) * Applicants must be 25 yrs. or older.

All DITR dogs are fostered in homes and are INDOOR dogs.

Being a responsible dog owner means teaching your dog to be a good house pet and putting in the time and effort to make them a part of the family.
