Child of the Promise

Child of the Promise is a Broadway-style musical that chronicles God’s promise of the Messiah to come. It begins with the dynamic prophecies made by Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Micah 700 years before the birth of Christ, followed by music from the angel Gabriel, Zacharias the priest, Elizabeth his wife, Herod and the Wise Men, the shepherds, Mary and Joseph, Anna and Simeon, and the voices of the angel choir.

This production utilizes contemporary music, with songs written by Michael and Stormie Omartian based on Scripture and enhanced with an 11-piece live orchestra. According to Producer Linda Meyer, Child of the Promise is a “community gift to the glory of God” and “our committed sponsors enable us to offer quality theater to those who might not otherwise have this opportunity to hear and see the Gospel.”

This spirit-filled ministry also gives over 100 tickets to organizations working to improve the lives of individuals. Rejoice with the COTP crew in retelling of this story which never grows old, of the birth of our Lord Jesus, the One who was and is and evermore shall be.
