Well… here we go! Hey Wayne County!

I’m Averil and beyond excited to introduce myself as the new publisher and owner of The Buzz! First things first—huge, heartfelt thanks to Dan and Mary Wroblewski. They’ve poured their hearts into building The Buzz into something truly special. Because of them, this paper has been a staple in our community—and I’m so grateful they’ll continue contributing to the magic.

I love this community. The people. The small businesses. The Friday night lights. The front porch conversations. This place is home.

Now I’m jumping into this new chapter with big vision and even bigger gratitude. We’re going to honor the legacy of The Buzz—and take it to another level. But here’s the secret ingredient: YOU!

This is your paper. Built by you. Made for you. Supported by you. We are 100% local, spotlighting your achievements, cheering on your businesses, and keeping each other informed and inspired.

So as we're currently updating the site, right now the site will give you "some" of the stories in each current edition, just to get you "buzzin," but to read them all, click on the digital version of The Buzz in the upper right side under the header.

And oh yes… we’re going to have FUN. The much popular Speak Your Mind is still here, plus a brand-new interactive website is coming, and for my small business owners-a powerful networking section where businesses BUZZ and thrive! Sweet surprises ahead and around the corner! So if you see me around town, say HEY—I promise I’ll say it back (probably loudly). So much to say, so little space…Wayne County—let’s get buzzin’! 🐝
