Two incidents of break-ins to vehicles at Holiday Inn Express, 1003 Sunburst Drive in Goldsboro were reported to the Goldsboro Police Department.
The first incident occurred on May 29, 2016 when someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a purse.
The second incident occurred on June 8, 2016 when someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a pair of headphones.
The investigation into these incidents lead to the arrest of Joao Martins Neves, a 30 year old homeless man living in Goldsboro. He was charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, two counts of Larceny, one count of Financial Card Theft, and two counts of Financial Card Fraud
.
Joao Martins Neves was arrested on 06/10/16 and booked into the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is 06/13/16
