DITR's Neytiri
NEYTIRI
Breed: Catahoula Mix (mini version) DOB: (11/13/22) NEYTIRI
Little Neytiri is ready to find her forever family! She has come a long way!
This little girl came to us from a hoarding situation at 5 weeks old! We quickly discovered she had Puppy Strangles, otherwise known as Juvenile Cellulitis and its fairly rare. While on the medication she experienced some knuckling and bow legs. Slowly weaning her off the medication took care of that. But the stress of being sick brought on Demodex and she is now on Nexgard which is taking care of that. She is now doing well.
Neytiri is a happy, well-rounded puppy who is great with other dogs and cats. Even though her tail is broken, it's always wagging! She loves cuddles, toys and food! Especially peanut butter! And at the end of the day all she wants is to curl up in your lap. She is very smart and a fast learner, working on house-training and knows how to SIT for her food.
Neytiri is now 5 months old and weighs 11 lbs. She has a Blue Merle coat and beautiful brown eyes. We're guessing she may get to 25-30 lbs.
Neytiri is now up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and being maintained on monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention.
We would like an adopter who will put the time in for lots of love, walks and to continue to train her to be a social and well-behaved girl.

* No small children simply because she has sharp puppy teeth and likes to chew.
Neytiri is being fostered by Diamonds in the Ruff Canine Rescue (DITR) An application is required along with a home visit and small adoption fee.
* Fenced in yard required (no invisible or electric fencing) * Applicants must be 25 yrs. or older.
