GRACIE Breed: Poodle Mix DOB: 07/30/16

Look at that precious little face! Gracie is doing so much better after being rescued from a hoarding situation last year. Gracie is an 8-year-old Poodle mix. She was pretty shut down when we initially rescued her. But she is so HAPPY now to be out of that mess and has turned into such a fun dog!

Gracie loves to play with a ball, any type of ball. If she's awake she's playing with a ball. She will either set it at your feet for you to kick or roll or she will play by herself by rolling and dropping it off the porch, then running down to get it. She can definitely entertain herself.

Gracie is house-trained and crate-trained. She has quite a bit of energy for an older dog. She is a very sweet girl.

Gracie is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and being maintained on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She sleeps in a bed next to her foster parents at night.

Gracie doesn't pay much mind to other dogs or cats. She would be good with older kids that want to play fetch with her.

Gracie is working on basic commands and will COME when called. She walks well on leash with a harness. She has a cute bark and howls sometimes – its adorable!

An application is required along with a home visit and small adoption fee.

Fenced in yard required (no invisible or electric fencing) Applicants must be 25 yrs. or older.

All DITR dogs are fostered in homes and are INDOOR dogs.

Being a responsible dog owner means teaching your dog to be a good house pet and putting in the time and effort to make them a part of the family.
