Cures for the Colors Survivor Banquet

Southeastern Cancer Care's Cures for the Colors Survivor Banquet is back with a new venue.

Goldsboro, NC, May 11th, 2023 – The Cures for the Colors Survivor Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, June 24th at 10:00 AM at the Maxwell Center. The event is free for all cancer survivors and one guest. Brunch will be served, Steve Jones will be singing, and there will be chances to win several door prizes. The event is sponsored by Southeastern Medical Oncology Center to give back to those in the community who have battled cancer. This is the first Banquet that has been held since the Pandemic. Participants can RSVP for free at www.southeasterncancercare.org or sign up at the SMOC office in Goldsboro or Clinton.

Emma Barnes, Community Development Coordinator with Southeastern Cancer Care, said, “ If you or someone you know has battled cancer, come join us for a morning of good food, great company, and inspiring stories. We look forward to honoring everyone who has been impacted by cancer. Thanks to Southeastern Medical Oncology Center, the event is completely free for all survivors and one of their guests to attend.

Southeastern Cancer Care is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing gas gift cards and grocery gift cards, as well as, helping with utility bills and oncology prescriptions. SCC is proud to say that 100% of the funds raised go directly into the pockets of cancer patients and their families. Southeastern Cancer Care runs solely off monetary donations and our volunteers’ time and resources.
