Disaster Relief Effort in Goldsboro

Goldsboro, NC – Oak Forest Church of Christ, 2705 N. Park Dr., Goldsboro, will be aiding local families affected by Hurricane Matthew. If you are in need of non-perishable food items, personal care items, infant care items, cleaning items, bedding items, or clothing then we welcome you to come to our building to obtain these items free of charge. We will begin distributing these items Monday, October 17, 2016 from 8:00am – 6:00pm. These are also the hours for Tuesday, October 18, and Wednesday, October 19. Hours for the days following are subject to change. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page, Oak Forest Disaster Relief Effort, for more information. When you come to our location, you will need to provide personal information such as your address, a telephone/contact number where you can be reached, and a FEMA number if you have been assigned one. You will need to tell us what your currents needs are so that we may assist you through this difficult time. If you have been spared any loss during event but would like to help we are accepting monetary donations as well as basic household goods. At this time, we are not accepting any clothing donations. If you would like to volunteer to help serve those in need, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Deborah Naaca at (919)440-0156.
