Franklin Graham Ends "Decision America" Tour in Home State

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina-based evangelist Franklin Graham is wrapping up his 50-state tour this year calling on Christians to pray for the country and to vote this fall with a rally in his home state.

Graham's "Decision America" tour concludes at midday Thursday on the grounds of the old Capitol building in downtown Raleigh.

The oldest son of the Rev. Billy Graham has been traveling to state capitals to preach the Christian faith while urging its believers to stand for "biblical principles" and vote when possible for candidates who hold similar principles. Graham is not endorsing any candidates. He's said the most important issue in the presidential race is the next president's top picks for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Graham lives in Boone and is CEO of the Samaritan's Purse relief organization.
