2 Suspects Apprehended at North Carolina Hospital

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Two armed suspects have been taken into custody after causing a lockdown at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on Saturday night.
Winston-Salem police tell WXII-TV (http://bit.ly/29uQLkS) early Sunday that the two people in custody had allegedly fled the scene of a break-in.
The television station says hospital employees were alerted that two people, possibly armed and dangerous, were inside.
Employees tell the station the lockdown started around 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
One suspect was apprehended at a Baptist parking garage, while the other was caught on the street near the hospital. The suspects' names haven't been released.
Police say the suspects entered the home about a quarter mile north of Baptist and drew their weapons in order to open fire. The homeowners fired shots and a homeowner was grazed by a bullet but it's not yet clear where the bullet originated.
