Dorothy’s Adventure in Oz              

Choreographed by Peggy Wingate and Mary Franklin adapted from Asheville Ballet and reworked from Goldsboro Ballet's Premiere presentation of the Ballet in Goldsboro in 2011. First Friday & Downtown Art Walk

Looking for something fun and relaxing to start off your weekend?  Stop by First Friday and join in on the quarterly Art Walk. This fun event will start at the ACWC where you’ll pick up a map and your Art Walk Passport.  Follow it to the participating businesses around downtown.  Stop in, meet the artist, check out the business, and get your passport stamped.  Once you’ve visited all of them, come back to the ACWC and enter to win a $100 gift certificate to the Art Market. ∙ 919.736.3300

Kiss the Pig Contest – Downtown Goldsboro                    

Vote for the community celebrity you want to see kiss a live pig at Pig in the Park this year when you dine downtown. Benefits the Boys & Girls Club.

Dance for Christ                    

This powerful production is a can’t-miss and has become a local favorite over the last decade. Artistic Productions, Inc. presents this live ministry through a mix of ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip-hop and more. Head to the First Baptist Church, 124 S. John St, in Downtown Goldsboro for this arts and crafts fair hosted by The Goldsboro Juniors.

The Wayne County Extension and Community Association (ECA) will have their annual Soup and Sandwich luncheon, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 at the Wayne Center on George Street in Goldsboro. Tickets are $5.00 each. Eat in or Take out.

EOD Memorial Race

Walnut Creek Community Center

The EOD Memorial standard 5K Race is held annually as a salute to fallen EOD warriors who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  This family-friendly event will also include activities for children and merchandise vendors as well.
