Letters to Santa

The Arts Council of Wayne County has a direct line to the man in red. Drop your Letters to Santa in the magic mail drop in front of The Arts Council, so his elves can deliver them to Santa, personally. Address letters to: Santa Claus, 100 The North Pole. Take A Selfie with the Elfie DGDC & Downtown businesses bring Elf on the Shelf to life, with a month-long scavenger hunt. Follow Downtown Goldsboro on social media for clues on Jolly McJingles’ whereabouts. Take a selfie with Jolly and post to Downtown Goldsboro’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for a chance to win Downtown Dollars. Y’s Men Eat Chicken

Join us as the YMCA and Chick-fill-A at Berkeley Commons partner to better our community as owner operator Russell Wade will be donating a percentage of the day’s proceeds towards the Y’s Men program that is serving families not receiving any assistance at Christmas. It cost $350 to sponsor one family. Come out and help support a great cause!

Boys & Girls Club

Annual Pancake Day

Tickets are only $6.00 each and can be purchased from any board member or from Club staff at each of the three Club locations in Goldsboro, Fremont and Mount Olive. To purchase tickets, make a donation, or to volunteer, contact the Boys & Girls Clubs office at 919-735-2358. Large take-out orders should call and place an order by Friday, December 4th. This fundraiser directly impacts kids in Wayne County.

Messiah The Chancel Choir and Friends of FIRST AFRICAN BAPTIST CHURCH, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC will present MESSIAH by George Friderich Handel on Sunday, December 6, at 6pm in the evening.
