Downtown Goldsboro Presents: Vacant to Vibrant Property Tour       

Curious about some of our more notable vacant spaces in downtown Goldsboro? Wondering what their potential use could be? Do you have a desire to invest in one of these properties yourself?
Whatever your curiosity, we invite you to join us for a look behind the doors at our Vacant to Vibrant event on Friday, November 1st. We'll visit/tour 116, 119 & 121 N. Center St. and 209 W. Walnut St. The tour will round out at 151 N. Center St., where David Perry will share his development story of the large, historic downtown property.  We'll kick off the tour on the 2nd floor of 121 N. Arts Council Holiday Art Market Opening           

Kick off the Holiday shopping season by shopping local! The Arts Council of Wayne County is extending their Holiday Art Market Opening this year to a two-day expo event featuring local artists and artisans selling their unique goods. In addition to vendors, the Art Market will be stock full of beautiful new items sure to please. Paramount Theatre Presents: Dailey & Vincent

Be Kind Her – Women’s Health Event                  

Hosted by Wayne UNC Health Care, this event will focus on the power of kindness to heal and restore while connecting women to local breast cancer and women’s health resources.
Featuring Keynote Speaker, Nicole J Phillips. When faced with a breast cancer diagnosis, Nicole J. Phillips turned to kindness to help her overcome her fears. Now host of The Kindness Podcast and author of two books, Kindness is Contagious and Kindness is Courageous, she inspires others with her message of hope and transformation. Miss Goldsboro Scholarship Pageant         

The new Miss Goldsboro will represent Goldsboro and Wayne County throughout the year through speaking engagements, community service projects and appearing at events across the county such as the Fremont Daffodil Festival, the Mt. Olive Pickle Festival, Downtown Lights Up, Christmas parades, and many other local events. Downtown History Walk – Free                 

Guided walking tour of downtown given by the Wayne County Museum. Learn about the history of some of the buildings and businesses downtown as well as sites in our city's Civil War history. Tour meets and starts from the museum lobby at 10am. Lasts approximately 1 hour. (Weather permitting)­­­

Motorcycle Riders Toy Run

The 31st Annual Wayne County Motorcycle Riders Toy Run will meet at Berkeley Mall at noon on Sunday, November 17th, 2019.  All makes of bikes & trikes are welcome! Please bring one toy per bike.  A party will follow the Run at The Howling Moon Saloon, 1105 S. George St, Goldsboro.All clubs & patches are also welcome.
