As a result of an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the following person has been arrested and charged as indicated:

CHARGE(S): First Degree Sexual Offense of a Child

Indecent Liberties with a Child

Incest with a Child- 3 counts

First Degree Rape

Statuatory Rape/Sex Offense-2 Counts

Assault on a Female

BOND: 3.5 Million secured

ARRESTING OFFICER: Sgt. Tart Wayne County Sheriff's Department

BRIEF NARRATIVE: On January 4, 2016, a report was filed with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office regarding a minor child having been sexually abused. The report was assigned to Det. Pat Matthews. Interviews were conducted with the victim and others family members. Subsequent to the investigation, the above named subject was arrested while incarcerated at the Wayne County Detention Center and charged with multipal charges of Incest and Statuatory Rape of a minor. The investigation disclosed that the subject was reported to have committed the offenses over a 3 year period.
