Homicide Investigation of SJAB Airman on Center St


On July 31, 2016 at about 2:30 a.m. the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the 100 block of North Center St. in reference to a subject being shot. Upon arrival officers discovered Ryan Apollo Morgan, a 32 year old male and an active duty airman assigned to Seymour Johnson AFB, as an apparent victim of gunshot wounds.


Emergency Medical personnel responded and transported Mr. Morgan to the Emergency Room of Wayne Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Section responded and initiated an investigation into the incident.
