PENNY was adopted from DITR as a young pup. About a year later her owner passed away and she came back into our program. She desperately wants to know what a forever home feels like again. She's a good dog. Penny is house-trained, crate-trained and has good manners - just to name a few examples.
Penny is a beautiful dog. She is just over 3 years old (DOB: 04/26/13) and believed to be a Boxer / Hound mix. She currently weighs 50 lbs and is full grown.
Penny is a fun and enthusiastic girl. She is a happy dog and a lot of fun to play with. She is always ready to retrieve balls or anything else you throw for her. Penny enjoys Nylabones and rope toys the best! She loves to ride in the car where she is a perfectly behaved passenger. Penny is incredibly friendly with people. She loves going for walks; we are working on leash training as she likes to be in the lead! She is walking much better now on a leash with a martingale and loves when her foster mom takes her for a run!
Penny is being fostered by Diamonds in the Ruff Canine Rescue. An application is required, along with a home visit and small adoption fee. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
